Since 2017, Ralf Junker has been the President of BOMAG. Before that, he became a board member in 2001 and Managing Director in 2009. In this position he held the worldwide responsibility for the divisions Production and Industrial Manufacturing at the production sites in Germany, Italy, USA and China. Ralf Junker joined BOMAG in 1988.
In 2017 Robert Laux became Managing Director at BOMAG. He has been a board member since 2006. Before being assigned as a board member, he was Head of the Electrical Engineering at BOMAG. Robert Laux has been working at BOMAG since 1997.
Dirk Woll has been a board member since 2014 and has been Managing Director at BOMAG since 2015. Before this position, he worked in various supervising positions in the field of mechanical engineering, as well as in the automotive industry, for example for Eberspächer and Bruker.
Michael Grünewald has been a member of Management since 2010. He is responsible for sales in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Before this, among other roles, he was responsible for global sales of spare parts for BOMAG. Since 2003 he has managed the European Sales Department. Michael Grünewald has worked for BOMAG since 1989 and is also responsible for the management of dealer networks.
Frank Kaptain has been a management member since January 2017. He is responsible for the global strategic direction of After Sales as well as the sales management of spare parts and services. After his engineering studies, Mr. Kaptain held various management positions at, among others, Schindler elevators and escalators, and KABA GmbH. He subsequently worked in various positions at GEZE Service GmbH in Leonberg, most recently as Managing Director for the service division.
Volker Laux joined the BOMAG management team in 2016. He is responsible for strategic purchasing as well as the global supply chain. As a graduate in engineering (FH) and business studies, he worked at TRW as a development engineer, had various assignments in purchasing and finally held the position of Purchasing Director. His last employment was as Global Sourcing Director at Thermo Electron LED GmbH in Langenselbold.
Thomas Merfeld has been a member of Management since 2000. He is responsible for the company's entire international Human Resources Division. Before this, he was BOMAG's Human Resources Manager in Germany. Thomas Merfeld joined BOMAG in 1990 as a Human Resources officer. He is responsible for both operative HR management and conceptual and strategic human resource work.
Wolfgang Mörz has been a board member and is responsible for production at the Boppard site since 2017. Previously he worked in the commercial vehicle sector as production manager at IVECO Magirus AG and in special vehicle construction at Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG.
In 2018, Jérôme Beilvert joined the BOMAG management board as Vice President Milling. Before that, he was responsible of Marini India, as Structuring Manager for FAYAT Group. Mr. Beilvert holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA in International Business. During his career, Jérôme Beilvert has been taking full responsibility of Industrial Business Units in Asia and North America.
Dr. Stefan Forkert has been a member of the management board as Vice President Engineering since 2018. Before joining BOMAG, the mechanical engineer led CLAAS Group's Harvester product sector and was also responsible for the Product Development department in China and India.
Robert Mueckler is President of BOMAG Americas since 2015 where he is currently responsible for the development of the North American market. Mr. Mueckler has been part of the company’s Management since 2010 when he initially held the position of Vice President of Marketing & Sales. In 2010, he moved to BOMAG from Manitou Americas where he served as Director of Sales for North America.
Jonathan Stringham joined the management team at BOMAG in 2013 as Vice President Marketing. He is responsible for product management, product marketing, communications and the milling machine division of the BOMAG Group. Jonathan Stringham has moved to BOMAG from SCHOTT AG where he held the position of Director Strategy & Product Management for the Advanced Optics unit.
