The e-tandem roller's articulated joint is solidly bolted to the front and rear frames and is therefore also easily accessible in case of emergency.
The spray nozzles are protected from the wind. This ensures even wetting of the drums in adverse conditions.

The e-tandem roller is recuperative. Valuable energy can be recovered when braking. Mechanical energy is then converted back into electrical energy.

The electric tandem roller is powered by a 48-volt electrical system. No special safety precautions have to be observed during maintenance, unlike with high-voltage systems, for example. This means that no trained electrician is required for servicing.

The BOMAG e-PERFORMANCE tandem roller is equipped with two electric motors: one for the travel system and steering and one for vibration.
In travel-only mode, only one electric motor is required, significantly reducing energy consumption. In addition, the ECO function helps save energy.

The permanently installed batteries can be charged with 230 or 400 V. The operator benefits from maximum flexibility, whether it's a household socket, wallbox or CEE plug. Corresponding charging cable adapters are optionally available from BOMAG.

Electric tandem rollers are particularly low-maintenance. Neither fuel filters nor engine oil need replacing.

The tandem roller is equipped with particularly bright LED headlights. At dusk, at night, or when working in workshops/warehouses and multi-storey car parks, they illuminate the area in front of the drum almost as bright as day. This increases work quality and safety on the construction site.

This prevents their simple theft. In addition, the e-tandem roller's robust design significantly reduces the mechanical stress on the batteries.

The soft-responsive travel lever, compact steering wheel and excellent overview of the working area and drum edges enable relaxed and precise work. The generously sized operator's platform ensures maximum comfort.

A tandem roller in the 2.5-tonne class with a diesel engine consumes approximately 3 litres of fuel per hour. However, for every litre of diesel consumed, approximately 2.65 kilogrammes of CO2 are emitted.

The battery offers plenty of capacity for a typical day's work. The fitted batteries are not only powerful but also long-lasting.

The roller driver can monitor all important machine parameters at a glance on a 5-inch digital display: Speed, current energy requirement, asphalt temperature, compaction progress, operating hours, and battery charging capacity, duration and power.
The electric construction machine is operated as accustomed with rotary pushbutton switches.
