With BOMAG’s foam bitumen lab unit, road designs can be prepared and tested in advance. The mobile laboratory unit can be used to produce a test specimen of the cold mix from the original building material and the binder. Its properties can then be tested directly on site.
This saves time and money while guaranteeing the high quality of cold recycling with foam bitumen in advance. The quality of the foamed bitumen can be determined in terms of bitumen temperature, reaction water and reaction air quantities even before construction begins.
