Boppard, 19/10/2023: Always a highlight in the construction machinery sector – the BOMAG Innovation Days took place in Boppard for the fifth time. Construction machinery manufacturer BOMAG welcomed over 1,500 guests from around 80 countries to its headquarters in Boppard from 18 to 21 September. Insights into the plant, presentations and, of course, machines and digital solutions in action provided the perfect setting for an informative and stimulating exchange among professionals.

Thinking globally and acting locally.

This is the only way an internationally positioned company can adequately meet customer requirements worldwide. And that’s why the construction machinery manufacturer is expanding its locations around the globe and recently opened a new plant in India.

In this spirit, the BOMAG Innovation Days also serve as a platform for the global exchange of information on new technologies and strategies. Construction site networking 4.0: ASPHALT PRO and BOMAP.

This year’s BOMAG Innovation Days placed special emphasis on the two digital products BOMAP and ASPHALT PRO. The BOMAP assistance system monitors the results of both soil and asphalt compaction in real time, independently of the manufacturer. This makes it easy to monitor and document the degree of compaction on the construction site. ASPHALT PRO helps plan, optimise and document the entire job site. With this software solution, site managers can significantly reduce the planning effort for upcoming road construction projects, monitor the ongoing paving process, and take corrective action quickly and in good time wherever necessary.

Breaking the sound barrier.

Fascinating technology was at the heart of the BOMAG Innovation Days 2023. At the same time, BOMAG announced a significant economic achievement. For the first time in the company's history, the company surpassed the 1 billion mark in annual sales. A milestone that impressively underscores the strength and stability of the major construction machinery manufacturer.
