The BD 2000 features a 2000 gallon asphalt tank system suitable for various types of emulsion and liquid asphalt binder, and in-tank baffles help to control the liquid from shifting during transport. Protected by an aluminum sheet cover, the tank has 4 inch thick, high-density insulation to efficiently maintain oil temperature. Surrounded by a guard rail for increased safety, a bolt-on 17.5 inch diameter cover provides convenient access to the back of the tank.
