Overview

BOMAG's Universal and Highway class paver impresses with very high pre-compaction, a large paving width and significantly reduced fuel consumption.

The BF 900 C-3 L paver perfectly balances the requirements of high paving quality and economic efficiency:
combining simple machine operation and innovative technical details enables the paving team to achieve the best work results. The robust design and durable wear parts ensure a long service life and low maintenance requirements.

The paver is equipped with active engine and hydraulic control units, further reducing operating costs. Fuel and CO2 savings of up to 30% are possible. At the same time, noise emissions are significantly reduced, which also has less impact on the environment.
A paving width of up to ten metres can be easily achieved if the paver is equipped with the BOMAG screed S600 and the quick and easy-to-install screed extensions.

With the BF 900 C-3 L paver, a very high paving quality can be effortlessly achieved.

 

The operator benefits from an optimal view of the machine's edge, hopper, auger and screed throughout the installation process. The paver is equipped with two seats; the control panel can be moved from left to right or vice versa. All the switches are arranged logically and ergonomically. This allows the operator to focus on the essentials: smooth, uninterrupted asphalt paving.

The black top paver is ideal for use wherever particularly high paving performance is required: on motorways or the construction or resurfacing of runways, for example. Here it stands out with its very large maximum paving width.

Easy on the environment and your budget.

Scraper belts, distributor screw, screed plates: the machine is fitted with particularly long-lasting wear parts. They make it possible to halve the average maintenance and repair costs.

Furthermore, longer intervals between wear parts also lead to lower transport costs and material consumption, as well as reduced resource consumption and emissions.

Equipped with A-PAVE Start.

When starting or interrupting work, the screed is automatically relieved, locked and returned to the floating position. This way, A-PAVE Start guarantees a consistently level and clean asphalt surface throughout the paving process.

The easy-to-learn operating concept minimises the risk of user errors, reduces stress on the job site, and improves work results.

Every machine function can be activated or controlled directly via a specially assigned switch. There is no double allocation of switches.

The sophisticated design of BOMAG's high-performance screed.

The blacktop paver is equipped with the heaviest screed currently available on the market. The perfect interplay with the infinitely variable vibration and tamper frequencies enables it to achieve pre-compaction values of up to 95%.

The paver screed is furthermore equipped with very long plates. These ensure almost perfect evenness of the asphalt even under difficult job site conditions, thus enabling the best work results to be achieved quickly.

With ECOMODE, the intelligent motor control system, the paver's engines always operate according to the load in the optimum speed range.

The lower speeds significantly reduce wear on the drive components. At the same time, the paver consumes up to 30% less fuel.

Thanks to QUICK COUPLING, changeover times are significantly shorter than with other systems. With this intelligent quick-fit system, the screed can be widened by simply hooking in the extensions. The screed mounting system thus offers maximum flexibility—for all paving widths and all construction site situations.

Self-service made easy.

All service-relevant points on the paver can be accessed easily, quickly and comfortably. Thanks to the well-thought-out machine design, spare parts and wear components can be replaced easily without special tools.

Saving energy with MAGMALIFE.

With the MAGMALIFE screed heating system, the screed plate heating rods are cast completely in an aluminium block.

Aluminium's excellent thermal conductivity and the large contact area with the screed plate ensure particularly homogeneous heat distribution and storage. The result: significantly shorter heat-up times. Energy consumption is also significantly lower than with conventional systems.

In addition to short heat-up times, MAGMALIFE excels with its long service life. The heating rods cast into the aluminium block are optimally protected against damage. This also helps to save costs.

The simplest and most cost-effective service is the one that isn’t necessary. The maintenance of our road pavers is as simple as their operation. As every function is controlled by its own switch, every switch can also be replaced separately. The engine compartment with the hydraulic systems is easily accessible from every side, and all the filters can be reached comfortably and centrally from one side. Good ideas, such as the fully automated central lubrication system, contribute to the remark­ably long maintenance intervals of our pavers.
