Overview

Screed for the BOMAG BF 600/BF 700/BF 800/BF 900 pavers.

Thanks to its high dead weight and extra-long screed plates, the BOMAG S 500-2 TV screed achieves outstanding paving results and optimal surface quality. This high-performance screed can achieve pre-compaction values of up to 95%.

The base screed is 2.5 metres wide. When equipped with BOMAG screed extensions using QUICK COUPLING, the machine can quickly and easily achieve a range of different paving widths up to 9 metres: 5.0 m/5.5 m/6.5 m/7.0 m/7.5 m/8.0 m/8.5 m/9.0 m

With the screed type TV (vibration and tamper), the tamper stroke can be adjusted to suit the type of mix, layer thickness and material throughput. This, combined with the screed's high dead weight, enables extremely high pre-compaction values (up to 95%) under any site conditions.

For greater flexibility even on large construction sites.

The base screed width is 2.5 m. With reduction shoes, the minimum paving width is 1.8 m. Mechanical extensions offer the highest flexibility with paving widths up to 9 m. It is always possible to install layers up to 30 cm thick.

The frequency of the vibration and tamper can be infinitely adjusted for optimal paving results and high pre-compaction. With BOMAG screed technology, a pre-compaction rate of up to 95% is possible.

The length of the screed plates is crucial for the evenness of the asphalt surface. And BOMAG screed plates are particularly long. Combined with the screed's high dead weight and perfect floating behaviour, this allows for the best paving quality.

The QUICK COUPLING rapid attachment system, in which the screed extension is hooked in and simply bolted, enables shorter refitting times and offers maximum flexibility across all paving widths.

The screed plates are heated particularly evenly due to the increased contact surface compared to standard systems. The result: no material adhesion and thus outstanding surface quality right from the start of paving.

With the innovative MAGMALIFE screed heating and the excellent thermal conductivity of aluminium, the screed is often fully heated in just 20 minutes.

The heating rods in the BOMAG screed are cast in aluminium. This protects them from vibration shocks and corrosion. The component's service life is significantly longer with BOMAG and doesn't require annual replacement.

The maintenance of our road pavers is as simple as their operation. The engine compartment with the hydraulic systems is easily accessible from every side, and all the filters can be reached comfortably and centrally from one side. Good ideas, such as the fully automatic central lubrication system – not even the screed requires manual greasing with BOMAG – contribute to the remarkably long maintenance intervals of our pavers.
