BOMAG multi-purpose compactors are extremely reliable and stand out with their highly robust, well-thought-out design.

The hydraulic hoses are not laid end-to-end to the exciter but initially only from the hydraulic tank to the frame. From there, they are routed in a second section to the exciter. This prevents costly and time-consuming repairs and minimises service costs.

The operator has everything in view on the display. Including the battery charge status.

The remote control is supplied with two batteries. While one battery remains in the lightweight, ergonomically designed remote control, the second can be recharged with the optional charger integrated into the trench roller's storage compartment. Both batteries together have enough juice for over 35 to 40 hours of operation.

Safety on the construction site is paramount. If the operator enters the machine's safety zone, the BOMAG Operator Safety System (BOSS) reacts immediately. The multi-purpose compactor's drive stops automatically. The machine can, however, still be manoeuvred away from the operator. It also warns if the trench roller is at risk of tipping over.

Thanks to a drum extension, it's easy to extend or decrease the working width of a BOMAG trench roller. The BOMAG multi-purpose compactor can also be optionally equipped with a smooth drum. Compaction with excellent surface quality on sandy subgrades is then effortless.

Even the simultaneous operation of several machines on one construction site is not a problem. Every BOMAG trench roller comes with an ergonomically designed remote control clearly assigned to the machine. The frequencies don't need adjusting. And if the original transmitter does get lost - pairing a replacement radio remote can be done in seconds.

Two light strips, clearly visible from both sides of the trench roller, show the compaction progress in real time. The system warns against over-compaction and grain breakage but also reveals weak spots in the soil. Thanks to ECONOMIZER, the number of passes can be reduced by up to 25%, saving time and money.
