Professional solutions for compaction technology and asphalt construction.

Boppard, 07.04.2025: At this year’s bauma 2025 in Munich, the leading trade fair for construction machinery, BOMAG will unveil the new BP series of single direction vibratory plates for the first time—versatile machines designed for use on any building site. This fully redesigned product line provides universal solutions for earthworks, asphalt construction and paving—compact, efficient and built to the highest standards, backed by over 60 years of expertise in compaction technology.
BOMAG’s BP series is characterised by its versatility: the machines are suitable for both public road and pavement construction, as well as work on private property. Thanks to their well-thought-out design and rugged construction, the vibratory plates offer outstanding operating performance, impressive surface coverage and an exceptionally long service life. Users benefit from this further development, which reflects the many years of experience of BOMAG developers, precision engineering, and the flexibility to tailor machines with individual upgrades to meet diverse requirements.
Each model in the new BP series can be customised to individual specifications. For example, the water tank, rubber mat and transport wheels can be retrofitted as upgrades and flexibly swapped between machines. Vibration-damped guide bars ensure fatigue-free and user-friendly, yet highly efficient and precise operation thanks to low hand-arm vibration (below 5 m/s2). All service points are easily accessible. The guide bar can be conveniently folded without the need for tools, allowing transport in almost any car boot.
The BP series’ specially designed base plate and engines guarantee maximum performance. Highly wear-resistant polyurethane mats are available for all models in the BP series for use in paving. They enable the gentle compaction of concrete block paving, particularly for coated surfaces.
The high quality of the components built into the BP series is typical for BOMAG. The exciter housing is cast on to minimise vibration-induced wear and eliminate the risk of loosening screws. With an additional cyclone filter (for the models BP 15/40, BP 20/45, BP 25/50) the air is pre-filtered so that less dust reaches the main filter. This also increases the engine’s lifespan and thereby the durability of the entire machine.

All new machine models are suitable for earthworks, paving and asphalt construction:
All models in the new BP series are equipped with petrol engines. In addition, the BP 20/45 D and BP 25/50 D are available with diesel engines.
Visitors to bauma 2025 will have the opportunity to see the new BP series vibratory plates being put through their paces. BOMAG experts will be on hand to provide comprehensive advice on their application possibilities and demonstrate live how the machines perform in everyday construction site tasks.
