Boppard, 18.02.2025: With the BR 95 e vibratory plate, BOMAG is expanding its range of battery-powered construction equipment with a powerful and compact vibratory plate. Designed for maximum efficiency and ease of use, it offers an ideal solution for construction projects with strict emission requirements. BOMAG will unveil this new member of its e-PERFORMANCE family for the first time to industry experts at bauma 2025 in Munich.
The BR 95 e is the ideal solution for precise compaction tasks in confined spaces, landscaping and earthworks. Its impressive performance and zero emissions make it a reliable alternative to combustion engine models.
The BR 95 e enables soil compaction up to a fill height of 25 cm. In terms of performance, it easily matches its gasoline-powered* counterpart. The emission-free battery operation offers numerous additional advantages: it complies with strict emission limits, thus protecting the environment and the operator. This enables the machine to be used in areas such as tunnels, buildings or deep trenches during pipeline and sewer construction.
The 360° guide bar ensures effortless and precise control of the BOMAG vibratory plate. Its compact design makes it ideal for accessing hard-to-reach areas such as corners, walls or around columns.
Even in demanding work scenarios, this special vibratory plate remains stable and resists tipping. Designed to move forward on its own, it requires only steering while delivering smooth performance comparable to that of a traditional vibratory plate.
The well-thought-out design and optimal weight distribution ensure hand-arm vibration stays below 2.5 m/s². This allows the operator to use the machine for up to eight hours a day—a significant advantage that greatly reduces documentation requirements.
The electric drive eliminates the need for oil and filters (oil and air filter), significantly reducing both oil consumption and maintenance costs. A specially designed V-belt guard minimises wear and extends the machine’s service life. All in all, the BR 95 e is virtually maintenance-free.
When equipped with the powerful eP28 rechargeable battery, continuous operation of approx. 45 minutes is possible. And with BOMAG’s fast charger, the battery can be fully recharged in under two hours. An LED indicator provides real-time charge status at all times, and tool-free battery replacement ensures additional flexibility.
The BR 95 e is part of BOMAG’s modular system and uses the same batteries as other light equipment machines in the e-PERFORMANCE portfolio.
