        BOMAG founds new subsidiary in Spain.

        Boppard, 29 August 2024: The Boppard-based construction machinery manufacturer BOMAG has established a new subsidiary in Spain: the new wholly-owned entity, BOMAG Ibérica de Maquinaria S.A., originates from the acquisition of Maquinter S.A., BOMAG's long-standing dealer for Spain and Portugal.

        Through the takeover, the former dealer has been fully integrated into the BOMAG Group. Maquinter has been distributing the full range of BOMAG compaction and road building equipment since 1993.

        "We are delighted to have successfully established a new BOMAG subsidiary in Spain. We have enjoyed a successful and cooperative partnership with Maquinter for over 31 years," says Dr. Ingo Ettischer, President of the BOMAG Group.

        "We see great potential and increased demand for the future in the growing Spanish market. By integrating Maquinter into our organisation, we are strengthening our position in the long term and further expanding our presence in the asphalt segment in the region."

        BOMAG Ibérica de Maquinaria represents the complete product portfolio of BOMAG. Machinery will be sold either directly to end customers or via a well-established Dealer and Service Partner Network all over the Spanish mainland and the Canary Island.

        The new company, BOMAG Ibérica de Maquinaria S.A., will retain its operational headquarters in Torrejon de Ardoz (Madrid). All 20 employees will continue to work at the site – now as part of the BOMAG family – and support the sales and service of BOMAG machines and digital solutions.
