Not all compaction is the same. Refuse compactors from BOMAG are synonymous with the best possible use of landfill volume, and at the same time offer ideal and homogeneous compaction. BOMAG refuse compactors are specially designed for use on landfill sites of all sizes, regardless of whether the refuse is industrial, household, bulky or construction waste. Refuse compactors are equipped with a dozer blade (RB) or a loading bucket (RS).

Operation based on travel speed rather than revolutions: Different working speeds for forward and reverse travel can be set by cruise control.
Separately adjustable standard dozer blade heights for forward and reverse travel.
Precise adjustment of dozer blade height to meet landfill requirements with the Autoblade and Blade Stepper function.
Saveable dozer blade positions: Frequently used positions can be conveniently saved and retrieved at any time.

The oscillating articulated joint with +/-15° ensures constant ground contact, traction and compaction even under the toughest conditions. This is the only way to achieve uniform compaction and excellent traction.

Big maintenance door‘s in combination with platforms left and right ensure best accessibility.

Scrapers and cable cutters in front of and behind each wheel keep the wheels clean. They prevent material from winding around the tapered axle housings. This keeps the tools clean at all times, minimising the daily cleaning effort and significantly increasing machine availability.

The high intake for cooling and combustion air in combination with the reversible air flow reduces cleaning needs to a minimum.

The special BOMAG wheel design delivers outstanding homogenisation, compaction and traction. The premium wheels even come with a wear guarantee.

TELEMATICS

The smart ECOMODE speed control saves up to 30% fuel and reduces noise emissions. ECOSTOP automatically shuts down the engine after a defined idling time. This further reduces consumption and wear.

The cooling air volume automatically adjusts to the power consumption and ambient temperature.

Radial offset ensures complete surface coverage with just two passes.
