Boppard, 07 April 2025: Redefining road construction: BOMAG is revolutionising the world of city pavers with the new BF 350. Whether tracked or wheeled, this compact paver delivers outstanding paving quality with its 75 kW engine and exceptional manoeuvrability. The new myCOCKPIT operating and cab concept stands out with its customisable settings and high level of ergonomic comfort.
The BF 350 was specifically designed for urban areas. With its compact design, 75-kW engine power and maximum paving performance of 350 tons per hour, it easily handles even the most demanding projects. The low-emission ECOMODE technology reduces fuel consumption, operating costs and noise emissions. The new BF 350 is suitable for paving widths from 1.7 to 5.0 m (tracked version) and 1.7 to 4.4 m (wheeled version). This versatility makes the new BOMAG paver the ideal solution for small and medium-sized construction projects, particularly in municipal areas and road construction.
Another special feature of the new BF 350 is the myCOCKPIT operating concept. With this, BOMAG is extending its philosophy of tailored, intuitive and user-friendly machine operation to pavers. In 2022, BOMAG set a new industry standard in road construction for ease of use and efficiency with this concept. Having already proven itself in the latest generation of heavy asphalt rollers, the system’s intuitive and consistently user-focused control design reduces operator strain and ensures outstanding paving results. With a combination of touch display and joystick control, it offers excellent ergonomics and flexibility. Drivers and screed operators can customise the controls to ensure the machine is perfectly tailored to the needs of the paving crew. Operators of all ages easily find their way around the user interface, as the machine can be operated via the touchscreen or traditionally with rotary switches.
The new BF 350 paver is equipped with state-of-the-art assistance systems, providing more useful work process information than ever before. Among other things, the systems provide data on screed width measurement, crown profile and cross-slope control, auger position and tow arm height display. This provides operators with precise information, enabling them to quickly and intuitively read the parameters on the high-resolution display—crucial for achieving even better paving results.
BOMAG placed particular emphasis on ergonomics and a good overall overview when developing the BF 350. Thanks to the SIDEVIEW technology, the operator has a clear view of all key areas, including the auger, screed and machine edges. The swivelling and laterally adjustable driver’s seat ensures maximum comfort and optimal working conditions, while the well-thought-out cab design offers protection from wind and weather.
The BF 350 also features the proven MAGMALIFE screed heating technology. The base unit features a seamless screed plate, which heats up particularly quickly and evenly with MAGMALIFE. The even heating process results in a level, seamless asphalt surface and a streak-free, homogeneous paving result. BOMAG's new paver model also offers flexibility with the QUICK COUPLING quick-attachment system, allowing for rapid adjustment of screed widths and significantly reducing set-up times on site.
As with all BOMAG machines, the BF 350 stands out for its ease of maintenance. The engine compartment and hydraulic systems are accessible from all sides, and filters can be conveniently changed from a central location. The fully automatic central lubrication system also greases the screed, ensuring long maintenance intervals and minimising downtime.
With the BF 350, BOMAG is setting new standards for city pavers. From its compact design and innovative operating concept to its high paving quality, the new paver offers everything a modern construction site requires.
