Asphalt compaction – to increase load-bearing capacity and wear resistance.

TanGO – “tangential oscillation” from BOMAG. This innovative, gentle compaction is ideal for compacting seams, thin layers and on bridges. Unlike with vibration, the drum always stays in contact with the surface. The working speed can thus be increased without running the risk of waves. Gentle TanGo compaction prevents grain destruction and jump operation, and makes working near to buildings risk-free. Not only is TanGo extremely easy to operate, it is also very low-maintenance. BOMAG offers a warranty of 8000 h on the drum body.

ECOMODE provides load-dependent and economical working without high engine speeds. Giving excellent fuel economy and maximum efficiency on every type of road construction project.

Simple and reliable compaction thanks to ECONOMIZER and BOMAP. Unnecessary passes are avoided, and the compaction progress is precisely documented. It’s that simple to achieve optimum results.

Daily maintenance is essential and with EasyService all maintenance points can be readily reached from the ground. And without any grease nipples.

The spray system keeps the drum moist, preventing hot asphalt from sticking to it. For road quality and on-site reliability, it’s crucial that the sprinkler nozzles do not become clogged.
While conventional systems rely on an additional filter, BOMAG's innovative, specially shaped nozzle interior minimises dirt build-up. The chamber design creates a swirl effect that flushes out residues.
The new BOMAG sprinkler nozzles are available as retrofit kits from BOMAG Parts & Service.
