All construction projects have one thing in common: they require load-bearing subsoil. Which is why single drum rollers play a crucial part in the construction process. Specifications, however, are highly diverse. A contractor working next to a listed house has to use an entirely different compaction method to that used in conventional road construction. BOMAG offers a wide range of single drum rollers for every type of work.

BW 211–BW 216-5 PL: These models are used on larger projects – for compaction work on a major site or for road construction, inside or outside towns.

Soil compaction – a key application in civil engineering to achieve sound foundations.

For medium to heavy-duty earthworks and subbase work. D models for water-bound materials, sand, gravel and sub-bases. PD models for cohesive and high water content materials. High-Climb models for gradients, e.g. landfill construction. H-series models are distinguished by their high gradeability and drives with more powerful torque capacities. They are designed especially for landfill and backfilling work.

BOMAG ECONOMIZER shows the degree of compaction on a display, enabling the operator to achieve the best compaction results.

Even over prolonged periods, the spacious cabin ensures fatigue-free driving. The operator always has an excellent overview of the working environment.

The smart ECOMODE speed control saves up to 30% fuel and ensures significantly lower noise levels. With the optional ECOSTOP, fuel consumption and wear are further reduced.

The double pump technology makes steep slopes of 60% possible, both forwards and backwards, and always with the best traction.

The optional TERRAMETER and BOMAP eliminate unnecessary passes. At the same time, the compaction of the entire construction site is measured and documented in real time.

TERRAMETER

ECOSTOP automatically shuts down the engine after a defined idling time, further reducing fuel consumption and wear.

It identifies optimally compacted areas and weaknesses in the subgrade.

ECONOMIZER

With BOMAP, you can monitor the results of your soil and asphalt compaction in real time, regardless of the manufacturer.
