Components such as the central lubrication system, reversible fan and compressed air system ensure exceptionally long maintenance intervals.

The FLEXMIX technology achieves perfect mixing results both in forward and reverse travel. In addition to high operational flexibility for a wide range of materials, this means top quality and optimised costs. In addition to the standard front and rear flap settings, BOMAG also offers an additional mixing and crushing flap in the rotor hood. This means that the FLEXMIX technology can achieve a perfect mixing result in any site condition – from maximum material throughput to the most homogeneous mixing quality.

Four cameras provide a 360° view around the machine. The machine can optionally be equipped with two additional cameras. This ensures that the operator always has the area in front of the rotor and the current mixing result in view.

BOMAG's large soil stabiliser can be easily manoeuvred on the construction site thanks to four different steering modes (rear-axle, articulated, synchronous and crab steering).

Thanks to its high position and large glasssurfaces, the cabin offers excellent all-round visibility. The view to the left and right working edges is also optimal. The operator's platform can be swivelled 45° in both directions and shifted completely from right to left. This makes manoeuvring safe and simple.

The milling rotor is driven hydrostatically. The engine speed is infinitely variable. In addition to the standard width of 2,400 mm, a rotor with a width of 2,600 mm is optionally available. This ensures even greater surface coverage.

Every important function can be carried out without the operator having to remove their hand from the control lever. For example, to position the FLEXMIX mixing flaps and set the milling depth. The display shows the driver all the machine functions and settings at a glance. It can also be used to control the injection systems (for water-bitumen suspension, foam bitumen and cement suspension).

The powerful 8-cylinder engines are real powerhouses. The large BOMAG recycler can push a bitumen emulsion tanker of about 40 tons during the mixing process while simultaneously pulling a water tanker of around 30 tons. The hydraulic travel system delivers very impressive torque – regardless of the working or engine speed.

The cab can be optionally equipped with an air-sprung, individually adjustable ergonomic seat. The ergonomic work position ensures fatigue-free, stress-free and safe working. What’s more: it’s really quiet in the cab.

The combination of 4 x 4 all-wheel drive, Anti Slip Control (ASC), and non-spin rear axle ensures continuous forward drive on all surfaces.

The cab can be lowered. With a width of just under three metres, the machine is then only three metres high and therefore fits on any normal low-loader.
