The BOMAG BS 10-2 towed spreader is the ideal addition for companies involved in cold recycling, base stabilisation and subsoil improvement. As an alternative to a self-propelled spreader, it enables full utilisation of an existing 120 HP tractor. The BOMAG system can be used in this situation independently of speed. Its radar sensor measures the tractor's speed and automatically adjusts the spread rate (volume).

For effective stabilisation and improvement of the subgrade, the powdered binder must be evenly distributed. Thanks to the automatic spread rate control, the BS 10-2 binder spreader does this reliably and precisely. With a capacity of 10 m3, the single-axle towed spreader is particularly practical and effective on medium-sized construction sites and challenging ground conditions.

The BOMAG BS 10-2 binder spreader ensures consistently precise spreading results.

For soil improvement or soil consolidation projects, powdered binding agents such as cement, lime or fly ash are pre-spread and then mixed into the soil using the milling rotor of a soil stabiliser.

The added binder significantly reduces the soil’s moisture content, leading to considerably better compaction properties in the subgrade.

Worklights at the rear of the spreader make it easier to work at dusk or in the dark.
BOMAG’s towed spreader can also be equipped with full road lighting in accordance with the German Road Traffic Registration Regulations (StVZO), rear reflectors and a detachable LED warning light.

Even if the tractor’s travel speed changes, the pre-set spread rate per square metre remains constant thanks to the speed-dependent spread rate control.
No excess material is applied anywhere. This ensures that only the required minimum of binder is applied. A radar sensor is used to measure the speed.

With a height of just 3.08 m, the towed spreader has a particularly low centre of gravity, simplifying transport on a low loader.
In combination with the large tyre diameter of 1.65 m, low tyre pressure and a tyre width of 65 cm, the towed vehicle always provides reliable stability, even on difficult terrain.

The closed tank can be filled pneumatically from both sides via 3-inch connections. An optional filter system prevents dust formation during filling.
Alternatively, the tank can be quickly refilled from above using the "big bag filling" option.
The current fill level is always shown on the display, whether almost empty or already full to the brim. An acoustic signal alerts the driver when the tank is full.

Both the tank and spreader unit are made of particularly high-quality materials. The well-thought-out design with minimal hydraulic components further enhances the ruggedness and operational reliability of the binder spreader. The result: reduced maintenance and a long machine life.

Computer-controlled metering ensures the pre-set spread rate is applied precisely, evenly and in the perfect dosage to the surface.
The spreading width can be adjusted in four sections: to 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 or 2.4 m.

Machine operators always have a clear view of the key spreading parameters on the large 7-inch colour display.
They can see immediately whether the tank is running low and needs refilling, along with the current spreading width and rate.

A 6-piece 1 3/8" PTO shaft is fitted as standard. The required input speed is 540 rpm. The slim and long cardan shaft allows a large offset when connecting to the tractor.
The binder spreader is fitted with a 40 mm towing eye as standard. Optional variants include a 50 mm towing eye or a K80 ball coupling.
