Feeder
The BMF 2500 FLEXMIX unit prevents thermal and physical asphalt demixing and reliably corrects cold spots before the material is paved. The FLEXMIX technology is available in two versions for feeders: FLEXMIX Basic - as an option for all feeders. Two conical augers in the hopper ensure homogeneous material mixing right from the start FLEXMIX - as an independent machine based on the S version of the feeder. In addition to the augers in the hopper, there is a second mixing unit at the end of the short belt. This mixes the material one more time before it is transferred to the paver.
With its particularly high output, the unit can convey a 27 ton lorry load of crushed rock, sand or asphalt in just 35 seconds. This saves time and operating costs. Long conveyor belt service life: The chain-reinforced conveyor belt guarantees reliable operation with no downtime. It requires no retensioning during operation and is temperature-independent. The roller chain ensures reliable material feed at a high conveying capacity of 4,000 tons per hour. Scrapers: Robust scrapers reliably clean the conveyor belt. The split design enables cleaning of the entire width of the conveyor belt.

The conveyor belt sensor, fitted as standard, ensures the paving material reaches the hopper reliably. The feeder’s automatic distance control automatically maintains a safe distance to the paver.
The individually adjustable work area and the lift platform create a comfortable environment and guarantee best visibility in all directions: to the front for unloading the lorry and to the rear for loading the paver’s receiving hopper.
The optional swivel belt is 6.5 m long and can be mounted or dismounted without any tools in less than 30 minutes.
The conveyor belt has a width of 1.2 metres and can deliver up to 4,000 tonnes of material per hour.
