Overview

As compact as a vibratory tamper, more manoeuvrable than a reversible plate.

Controlled and fast work without having to apply much force. BOMAG's new BR 95 vibratory plate combines the advantages of two machine series: it's as slim and compact as a vibratory tamper and as good-natured as a traditional vibratory plate. But it doesn't compromise on performance. It provides just the kind of compaction our customers want.

This type of vibratory plate, also known as round plate, has been in use on Scandinavian construction sites for many years. It goes without saying that performance and quality are just as important to our northern European neighbours, but they also demand tools that are easy to use and make the operators feel confident in their day-to-day work. This is exactly what the new BOMAG BR 95 vibratory plate does. It runs smoothly and stably. It is easy to guide and manoeuvre.

The technical properties correspond to those of a single direction plate. On sand, gravel and mixed soils, very good compaction values up to a fill height of 25 cm are possible. The rounded base plate defines the working surface. Not a single component protrudes. With a BOMAG BR 95, you can compact right up to walls, pillars and in corners. And thanks to the larger base plate compared to the vibratory tamper, an even surface finish can be achieved.

A BOMAG round plate is ideal for compacting cultivated soil, poured soil and non-cohesive soil. In earthworks, it enables quick and professional foundation work up to a fill height of 25 cm.

It is robust and reliable. It can be used on any construction site, in trenches and pipeline construction, for compaction work on backfills and foundations, right up to walls and the sides of buildings or for contour work. The round plate really comes into its own in landscaping and on small construction sites – with the winning combination of performance, easy handling and uncompromising operator protection.

Engine exhaust fumes are directed downwards and away for greater operator safety. An additional heat shield protects the operator from contact with the exhaust or manifold.

Thanks to the clever design and weight distribution, the machine's hand-arm vibration is less than 2.5 m/s2. You can work with this round plate compactor all day – a factor that greatly reduces the amount of documentation required.

With its 360-degree guide handle, this BOMAG vibratory plate can be controlled simply, precisely and with little effort, and easily moved in a different direction. It almost doesn't matter how you stand at the machine or where you have to go.

With its all-round engine protection and additional V-belt guard, BOMAG's round plate is optimally equipped for demanding applications. An additional cyclone filter pre-filters the air so less dust reaches the actual filter.
