Overview

Cold planer BM 1000/20: Highly valuable with the best productivity in its class.

As well as being very easy to operate, the machine also excels with its well-thought-out service concept. 164 kW paired with the BOMAG cutting technology result in an incomparable performance.

The three variable cutting and milling speeds are easy to set using a switch on the control panel. This allows for the correct speed for each application and the best surface quality. It also reduces wear on the rotors. At the same time, the advance travel speed is automatically maximized – the advance travel speed can go up to the limit.

The spring supended seat can be shifted sideways by up to 120 mm. From this position, the operator has a clear side view to the working area.

The cold planer is equipped with powerful LED lights. So even working at night is no problem.

Four wide-opening service doors make all maintenance points easily accessible. Servicing can be done comfortably in a standing position.

With the optional washing attachment, the machine can be quickly cleaned on the job site when the dirt is still fresh and can be easily rinsed off. The dirt stays on jobsite. Performed daily, such maintenance guarantees the machine's durability.

The optimised drum design in combination with the BMS 15 L holder system ensures maximum milling performance through low resistance and vibration.

This machine is significantly more efficient thanks to the toolholder's slim design. Fuel savings of up to 20% are possible.

The high-precision milling depth controller comes as standard. The exact current milling depth is clearly displayed in the driver's field of vision.

The wear-resistant digital display shows both the milling depth and the slope simultaneously.

Highly manoeuvrable for flexible unloading.

The foldable conveyor belt can be adjusted up to a height of 4560 mm and swivelled 25° to either side.

This ensures flexibility and an accurate loading in combination with the truck. Both parameters can be easily adjusted by joystick.

All maintenance points are well placed and easy to access. This allows the operator to perform all frequently required maintenance tasks quickly.

With a tightening torque of only 100 Nm, the cutters are easy to replace. The time required for a complete holder change is only about half the time needed for a conventional system.

With the optional slope sensor, the machine is also utilized for job sites where the road slope needs levelling while milling.

An easy-to-manoeuvre cold planer.

With a milling radius of just 380 mm—one of the smallest in its class—the machine can mill around manhole covers and is ideal for use in roundabouts and tight corners.
The optimised design of the front gives the operator excellent visibility, making the cold planer easy to manoeuvre and safer in every respect.

The operator can choose between 3 variable milling speeds, which can be easily set via a switch on the control panel.

Depending on the selected milling speed, the machine's advance travel speed is automatically adjusted and maximised. This ensures the optimal use of the engine output according to the jobsite behaviours. No components are subjected to excessive stress.
