Overview

Asphalt compaction with BOMAG expertise.

BOMAG pneumatic tyred rollers achieve top compaction quality thanks to the kneading and rolling effect of the wheels. Compaction is uniform, producing excellent surface finish. The weight of the rubber wheels generate vertical pressure, coupled with horizontal forces, which are applied in all directions around the wheels.

Asphalt compaction – to increase load-bearing capacity and wear resistance.

Surface dressing; highway and airfield construction and maintenance; special surfacing materials; proof rolling; lime and cement-stabilised soils. The compaction and kneading effect of the pneumatic tyres results in excellent surface sealing.

With ample ballast space, quick-change steel and concrete slabs, and an optional water tank, BOMAG pneumatic tyred rollers are the all-rounders on any construction site.

The spacious ROPS cab, easily rotatable and sliding driver’s seat, highly responsive travel control and rocker brake with the same width as the driver’s stand provide maximum productivity and operating convenience.

Two steering pivots with axle and wheel-hub oscillation at the front easily compensate for uneven ground.
The optional tyre inflation control system automatically balances the pressure in all tyres.
