Area sales manager


Ihre Aufgaben:

Is responsible for the commercial management and machines sales policy within the territory assigned. Is also responsible for achieving the sales and profit margin targets set. Promotes, within his/her own sphere of action, the values and the policies of the BOMAG and FAYAT Group

Responsibility and activity

  • Evaluating and selecting the best sales network in line with the business strategies shared with the management
  • Achieving the sales objectives assigned and shared with the business, availing him/herself of the collaboration of the direct and indirect sales forces
  • Assigning sales objectives to the direct sellers and Dealers of the geographical area under his/her responsibility
  • Implementing the commercial strategy by means of a constant presence in the territory
  • Analysing, managing and selecting the sales network in order to assure that they represent BOMAG to the best of their abilities
  • Motivating the commercial structure guaranteeing a continuous training thereof in relation to the products and BOMAG's sales tools
  • Maintaining contacts with the main clients supporting the sales forces in their commercial action
  • Increasing awareness of the brand and the BOMAG philosophy with clients and dealers
  • Together with the Finance department and the Service, and analysing and monitoring credits to clients within the zone of competence, acting in order to reduce the exposure and the connected risks
  • Informing the business and the factory, by transmitting information relative to the market situation and the negotiations in existence, to the activities of competitors and the needs relative to the products
  • Interacting with the local and central Service in order to guarantee quality and timely assistance to customers
  • Is responsible, jointly with all the other business functions involved, for the regularity and rapidity of the timescales of the process which goes from the order to the delivery of the machine to the end client

Extensive commercial experience in the sector of machinery for the construction industry; preferable knowledge of the business linked to road operating machines/vehicles. Maximum working flexibility required with transfers within Italy and occasionally abroad.
