Jörg Unger

President  

 
Jörg Unger has been President of BOMAG since 2009. He has been part of the company’s Management since 2005, when he initially held the position of Director of Marketing & Sales.
In 2005 Jörg Unger moved from Weinig AG to BOMAG. In addition to his role as President, he is also responsible for Marketing & Sales. 
   
 
 


Ralf Junker

Managing Director  

 
Ralf Junker has been a member of Management since 2001 and in 2009 was appointed Managing Director at BOMAG. He is responsible for global production at the manufacturing locations in Germany, Italy, the USA and China.
Ralf Junker joined BOMAG in 1988. He is also responsible for optimisation of production and the development and implementation of innovative manufacturing processes.

 
   
 
 


Joachim Blatt

Vice President  
Supply Chain
Joachim Blatt has been a member of Management since 2003. As Supply Chain Manager he is responsible for all processes connected to the BOMAG value added chain world-wide. Before his appointment to Management he was Administration Leader for Overseas Distribution and Leader for Planning and Development.
Joachim Blatt has worked at BOMAG since 1976. Strategic growth in milling and paving also form part of his responsibility.
 
   
 
 


Dieter Dieler

Vice President 
Finance & IT 
 

 
Dieter Dieler has been a member of the company’s Management since 2004. He is responsible for global Finance and Accounting and Information Technology. Before his appointment to Management he was Leader of Finance and Accounting.
Dieter Dieler has worked for BOMAG since 1973. He is also responsible for all areas of Cash Management.
 
   
 
 


Michael Grünewald

Vice President 
Sales 

 
Michael Grünewald has been a member of Management since 2010. He is responsible for Sales in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Before this, among other roles, he was responsible for global sales of Spare Parts for BOMAG. Since 2003 he has managed the European Sales Department.
Michael Grünewald has worked for BOMAG since 1989 and is also responsible for the management of dealer networks. 
 
   
 
 


Robert Laux

Vice President
Engineering 


 
Robert Laux joined BOMAG Management in 2006. His responsibility is Technology and Development. Before his appointment to Management he was Leader of the BOMAG Electrical Engineering Department.
Robert Laux has worked for BOMAG since 1997. He is responsible for all Development from basic research to the implementation of national and international patents.
 
   
 
 


Walter Link

President
BOMAG Americas


 
Walter Link has been President of BOMAG Americas since 2009. He has been part of the company’s Management since 2006, where he initially held the position of General Manager for BOMAG Paving Products. Walter Link has more than 30 years experience in manufacturing and has worked for BOMAG since 2006.    
 
 


Thomas Merfeld

Human Resources &
Social System
 

 
Thomas Merfeld has been a member of Management since 2000 and is responsible for international Human Resources and Social Systems. Previously he was Leader of BOMAG Human Resources and Social Systems in Germany.
Thomas Merfeld joined BOMAG in 1990 as Personnel Officer. He is responsible for both operational HR Management and strategic Personnel Management.
 
   
 
 


Dr. Karl-Heinz Mölich

Business Development &
Legal
Dr. Karl-Heinz Mölich has been part of Management since 1998. He is responsible for global strategic business development and international legal and patent issues.
Dr. Karl-Heinz Mölich has worked for BOMAG since 1998 and previously worked as a lawyer responsible for international legal issues and was also General Manager of Nikon.
 
   
 
 


Karl-Otto Ueberbach

Vice President
Asia/Pacific


 
Karl-Otto Ueberbach joined the Management in 2005. Based in Singapore, he is managing the Asia/Pacific region inclusive BOMAG’s Shanghai factory and BOMAG’s own sales- and service offices in China and Hong Kong. He also is responsible for licence productions in Malaysia and India. Karl-Otto Ueberbach joined BOMAG in 1984. Over the years, he held various positions, before moving to Singapore, he was in charge of Southern Africa and the Asia/Pacific region.
